HuMoS will be a motion-capture ecosystem at SIAT inspired by Thecla Schiphorst's vision of a "movement API". HuMoS is the hardware layer of the movement API. It is composed of both a ''sensing'' sub-layer that will collect raw motion data captured by a variety of sensors supported by HuMoS, and a set of ''movement data server layer ''that collect, normalize, clean (when appropriate) the raw movement data, and make available the raw movement data to any application in the SIAT network that requires the raw data. <br /><br /> The diagram below illustrates how I imagine HuMoS to be structured:<br /><br />
